Fire breaks out at Mishawaka AM General plant

A fire broke out in the H-1 building at AM General in Mishawaka Thursday morning.

Units from Mishawaka and Penn fought the fire together, and Mishawaka Police said the building was evacuated without any injuries.

The company says it caused up to $200,000 in damage, but employees were able to go back to work. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
