(95.3 MNC)

One man has died after an overnight crash in Noble County.

Noble County Dispatch received a call of a car into a tree at CR 1075 N and CR 350 W just before 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10.

The 911 caller reported the driver, Kelly Napier, 57 of Ligonier, was trapped inside his 2008 Chevrolet Uplander.

The Topeka Fire Department and a Noble County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene. Early indications appear Napier was driving west bound on CR 1075N and continued straight into the curve of CR 350 W head on into a tree. Napier was transported by EMS to Parkview Regional Hospital.

However, shortly after leaving the scene, EMS says Napier went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Weather conditions are believed to be a factor in the crash.
