Flood Warning to end late, but water levels will remain high

(Photo supplied/National Weather Service)

The flood warning remains in effect through late Thursday night, Feb. 23. Though the flood warning will end as the rivers crest, waterways will remain above flood stage for at least a week, local officials warn.

Thursday will be a dry day, with cloudy skies, but the sun will peek out during the afternoon. High temperatures will start warming up. We’ll have highs near 40.

By Friday morning, more rain showers moves into Michiana, ending by the afternoon.

Another system moves in Saturday bringing rain showers throughout the day.

Additional rainfall will keep the high river levels from receding as much as we would like.
