Volunteer needed for Berrien Springs flood clean up

Volunteer are needed to help clean up for Berrien Springs flood victims.

Anybody who is able to help can meet at the Berrien Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant, 9415 S. M-139 Highway in Berrien Springs on Saturday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. or Sunday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

All volunteers must pre-register prior to the event at http://www.uwsm.org/volunteer/

Volunteers under the age of 18 must obtain parent/guardian permission.

Rubber gloves and masks will be provided.

Organizers say to wear clothes you never want to wear again as volunteers will get very,very dirty.

Lunch and water will be provided both days by the Salvation Army.

Training will be provided each morning on safety, proper handling, and general requirements.
