A semi crashed into a truck on the Indiana Toll Road in Elkhart County Monday morning, then barreled into a building.

It happened around 7 a.m. Monday near the Elkhart travel plaza. A truck that was abandoned along the side of the road was hit by the semi, which then went down a ditch and then crashed into an Altec Engineering building on Gateway Drive.

The semi driver had minor injuries. No one in the building was hurt. Traffic wasn’t affected. Police are still investigating why the driver left the road.
