Police found a body while investigating a call about a shooting Monday morning.

Officers got a call shortly before 10 a.m. of a shooting in the 1800 block of Visscher Drive.

Elkhart Police say the shooting happened in the overnight hours. One person was injured, but officers later spoke with residents, who directed them to the woods where a dead man was found.

Police are still investigating.
