South Bend police looking for home invasion suspect

South Bend police are asking for your help finding a man who robbed a home Tuesday night.

Police say the male suspect knocked on the front door of a home on South Albert between Western and Sample at about 9:40 p.m.

The suspect reportedly pointed a gun at the victim and pushed his way inside. The suspect then allegedly took cash, wallets and credit cards.

No one was hurt while the robbery took place.

Police are looking for a black man with a small build who was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, sweat pants, and a gray and black stocking cap.
