Suspect arrested in hit-and-run of pregnant woman in South Bend

An arrest has been made into a hit-and-run collision which injured a pregnant woman.

The incident took place on Wednesday night, April 11, on Western Avenue, just west of Kentucky Street.

The 29-year-old victim was trying to cross the street when she was struck by a vehicle headed west. She taken to the hospital and was last listed in critical condition.

South Bend Police made the arrest on Friday night.
