An intoxicated woman was pulled over on US 31 near Fulton County Road 100 North Monday afternoon for allegedly driving 116 miles per hour…with a one year-old child.

Worse yet, the State Trooper who apprehended her discovered that the child was not properly restrained in a child safety seat.

The driver, 36 year-old Rachel Harding of Indianapolis, also reportedly had an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle, and tested over the legal blood alcohol limit.

She faces criminal charges of OWI, criminal recklessness with a vehicle, and neglect of a dependent.

The child was released into the care of the Fulton County Division of the Indiana Department of Child Services.
