A deadly crash in front of John Young Middle School in Mishawaka resulted in Main Street being blocked for several hours.

It happened late in the morning of Monday, May 14, when police say 28-year-old Derek Morris of Mishawaka drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with a school bus.

Morris died at the scene.

The driver of the school bus and a student on board the bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
