President Donald Trump’s visit to Elkhart this month cost the city of Elkhart over $30,000.

WSBT reports that their biggest expense was for police. $23,000 was paid out to officers from Elkhart and surrounding communities to make sure the event stayed secure.

No incidents were reported as thousands of people flocked to Elkhart to wait in line to see the President.

Fire and street departments made up the rest of Elkhart’s tab.
