Several people are facing drug charges in St. Joseph County after a drug bust.

State Police Troopers conducted a saturation patrol within several blocks of the 1300 block of Colfax Avenue in South Bend on Wednesday, May 16.

Citizen complaints about drug activity in the area led to the raid.

Six people face potential charges after the seizure of an ounce of suspected marijuana, six grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, suspected marijuana oil, marijuana seeds, one pound of synthetic marijuana and numerous items of paraphernalia. Also located was evidence of manufacturing Butane Honey Oil. These operations use highly flammable solvents and can create severe flash fires.

The Indiana State Police encourage the public to submit tips of suspected drug and other criminal activity to police. You can contact the Indiana State Police Drug Tip Line at 1-800-453-4756 or by calling you local Indiana State Police Post.
