South Bend man sentenced for distribution of cocaine

A South Bend man has been sentenced for distribution of cocaine.

Jeffery Henderson, 34, was sentenced to 70 months in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release.

According to documents, on September 19, 2017, Henderson sold cocaine base to a person who was working for law enforcement.

Henderson has five felony convictions, several of which were drug related including one prior federal felony conviction. Henderson was on bond from a felony case involving a firearm when he sold cocaine.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration with assistance from the Mishawaka Police Department.
