South Bend police looking for three suspects in armed robbery

South Bend Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened late Sunday night.

It happened near the intersection of Stanfield and St. Vincent Streets shortly after 10 p.m.

Police say the victims were returning home on Stanfield when three suspects approached them. One pointed a gun at the victims and the three took their cash, wallets, and other items. The victims weren’t injured.

Police say the suspects are:

  • Black male, short with a thin build, possibly late teens or early 20s. Wearing dark clothing.
  • Black male, short dreads or twists, possibly early to mid-20s. This suspect was carrying the
    handgun.
  • Black female, heavy-set, possibly early to mid-20s and wearing dark jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 235-9201 or Crime Stoppers at 288-STOP.
