Two Goshen schools went on a soft lockdown because of an armed robbery that took place Tuesday morning.

The robbery happened at CommunityWide Federal Credit Union on Lincolnway West just south of State Road 17. The suspect allegedly fled out the back of the building in an unknown direction.

He’s described as a white man wearing jeans, a gray sweatshirt, and a hat with the word LANCER on it.

The schools affected by the lockdown were Goshen High School, Chandler, and Parkside Schools, along with the administrative center. The lockdown has since been lifted.
