Middlebury man allegedly busted with meth, heroin, and pills

Multiple drug charges for a Middlebury man.

Indiana State Police pulled over 37-year-old Stephen Hatton Thursday night shortly before 11 p.m. on State Road 9 just south of the Indiana Toll Road. He was initially pulled over for equipment and moving violations.

However, state police say the officer was given access to search Hattpn’s car and discovered an unknown amount of meth, heroin, Suboxone, and drug paraphernalia.

Hatton was taken into custody without incident and faces meth, heroin, legend drug, and paraphernalia possession charges.
