Over 100 grams of meth allegedly discovered in Indiana Toll Road traffic stop

A South Bend man and a Mishawaka woman were arrested on the Indiana Toll Road in Steuben County early Monday morning.

It happened at about 2:15 a.m. at the Toll Plaza in Fremont.

An Indiana State Trooper reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the passenger’s side of a vehicle that had been pulled over for equipment and registration violations.

Over 100 grams of meth, along with heroin, marijuana, pills and paraphernalia were allegedly found.

58-year-old Arnold Scott of South Bend and 18-year-old Acasia Haynes were both taken into custody without incident and are being held in Steuben County Jail on $80,000 bond.
