South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg reportedly met with former President Barack Obama last year to discuss a potential Presidential run in 2020.

His communications director, Mark Bode, confirmed CNN’s report on the meeting to WNDU.

The report stated that Obama gave Buttigieg advice on running in the Trump era and discussed how to position the Democratic Party moving forward.

Buttigieg is reportedly considering a 2020 Presidential run after missing out on the Democratic National Party chairman post.
