Police are investigating after a man on a bicycle was injured in a hit-and-run in LaGrange County.

It happened just after 10 a.m. Thursday on 600 South near Topeka.

The bicyclist, a 69-year-old Topeka man, was heading eastbound when he was clipped by the passenger’s side mirror of a truck. The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office says he tumbled onto the roadway and suffered an injury to his shoulder and a possible concussion. He was found by a passerby.

The truck that hit him is described as a 1999 to 2002 model year of a Chevy Tahoe, Avalanche or Silverado with a missing passenger side mirror. It’s not known what the color of the truck was.
