Bremen Highway closed, once again, between Ireland Road and Dragoon Trail on Monday evening, June 18, due to the road buckling.

Crews will be replacing several sections of concrete pavement. Weather permitting, it is anticipated that replacement will be completed and the road will re-open to regular traffic late Wednesday afternoon.

Detours will be posted and traffic will be detoured to Ironwood Road where they are able to return to Union Road via Dragoon Trail.

Trucks are not authorized to use Dragoon trail and will be directed to Lincoln Way East in order to return east to their destinations.

ON THE U.S. 20 BYPASS:

(NEW) Watch for lane restrictions and slowdowns near the State Road 19 exit, as well as near County Road 17.

IN SOUTH BEND:

(NEW FOR TUE) Resurfacing is underway, again, on State Road 23 (Sample Street) between Olive and Fellows Streets in South Bend. Flaggers will direct one lane of traffic around the work zone. (ends 6/30)

(NEW) The intersection of Colfax and Michigan is closed for repair and repaving. (ends 7/13) Also, Michigan Street remains closed between Colfax and LaSalle. (ends 7/6)

Fellows Street is restricted between Bowman Street and Ewing Avenue. (ends 8/16)

Lane restrictions at Ironwood and Edison. East and westbound traffic on Edison remains down to one lane in each direction, and traffic is not able to turn north onto Ironwood Drive.(ends early 9/2018)

It’s down to one lane in each direction on the State Road 933 bridge near Leeper Park. Possible delays during the rush hours. (ends 6/30)

Traffic on Cleveland Road is down to one lane in several spots from Portage Road to State Road 23. (end TBA)

Eddy Street is closed from Napoleon Boulevard to Howard Street for 20 months. St. Vincent Street between Frances Street and Georgiana Avenue is also closed. Detours are set up. (ends late 2019)

IN MISHAWAKA:

IN OSCEOLA:

The intersection of Edison and Ash Road is closed through mid-October for road and roundabout construction.

IN ST. JOSEPH COUNTY:

(NEW) Watch for utility crews on State Road 2 between the U.S. 20 Bypass and Pear Road. Lane closures, at times (ends late 8/2018)

IN ELKHART:

(NEW FOR TUE) DeCamp Avenue is closed from Lusher Avenue to Hovey Street

(NEW) State Road 119, near Goshen, is scheduled to close between County Road 11 and County Road 40. Detour using State Road 19 to U.S. 6. (ends 6/21)

Bridge work is underway on the Toledo Road ramp to eastbound U.S. 20. Be prepared for stopped traffic, at times, in the work zone. Restrictions on the ramp are expected through early fall. (ends 9/30)

Jackson Blvd is closed from Waterfall Drive to Jr. Achievement Drive for riverfront re-construction. (ends 7/31/2018)

IN GOSHEN:

Watch for lane restrictions on State Road 15 near the intersection with 3rd Street (ends 11/2018)

IN BERRIEN COUNTY:

Watch for crews doing bridge repairs on U.S. 12 over the Galien River, near New Buffalo. There are single-lane closures and a temporary traffic signal set up. (ends 6/29)

IN LAPORTE COUNTY:

(NEW FOR THU 7/5) U.S. 35 is closed from Verma Drive to Pawnee Trail between LaPorte and Michigan City for up to three weeks. Southbound drivers can detou using U.S. 20. Northbound drivers can detour using State Road 39. (ends 7/1)

IN KOSCIUSKO COUNTY:

Resurfacing on U.S. 30 is underway through the towns of Larwill and Pierceton. Traffic will be down to 45 miles per hour and drivers are cautioned to watch for lane restrictions and possible stopped vehicles at times. (ends 9/2018)

IN MARSHALL COUNTY:

U.S. 31 is reduced to one lane in each direction near Plymouth in Marshall County for paving work.

IN PULASKI COUNTY:

All lanes of U.S. 421, north of Medaryville, are closed through early September. Crews will be replacing the bridge deck for the structure over a ditch north of County Road 200 North.
