A State Board in Indianapolis has ruled that there is no proof a Granger veterinarian abused animals in her care.
The State Board Of Animal Health made their ruling just before 2 a.m. Friday morning, putting the license of Jennifer Perusak on probation for two years. Perusak, who formerly ran the Animal Clinic of Granger, was accused by former employees to have struck, choked or dragged animals.
The Board reached their conclusion after a lengthy deliberation process that followed a long investigation, saying there was no evidence Perusek ever abused animals in her care. They did, however, find Perusek in violation of storing and using expired medications, and failing to follow certain sterility guidelines.
She will not face any fines.
