Elkhart County officers find man lying on the railroad tracks

Elkhart County deputies had to rescue a person lying on the railroad tracks Wednesday.

The man was found at the tracks on County Road 13 and Sunnyside Avenue at about 11 a.m. Wednesday with a head laceration. He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital
for treatment.

Officers are still investigating.

I’m guessing that he was drunk or on drugs.
