Elkhart County’s Habitat for Humanity is working on building its 200th home.
Thursday, they began work on the house in, oddly enough, the parking lot of the Martin’s store in the northeast side of Elkhart.
WSBT reports the walls were put together for a build site on Stiver Avenue.
Habitat For Humanity is in its 32nd year in Elkhart County, mostly staffed at build events by volunteers, and the 200th home will be set up for a single mother of three.
