Missing 19-year-old woman from Sturgis found safe

8/21 12 p.m. UPDATE: Gwenneth Elizabeth Detwiler has been found safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police are searching for a missing teenager in St. Joseph County, Michigan.

Gwenneth Elizabeth Detwiler, 19, was last seen on Saturday, Aug. 18, in the 11000 block of Riverside Drive in Mottville Township.

Sturgis Police say Detwiler is a white female with red hair and brown eyes. She is 5′-3″ and weighs 130 pounds.

Anybody with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the St. Joseph County Michigan Sheriff’s Office at 269-467-9045.
