Student faces disciplinary action after bringing BB gun to school

A student at the Nuner Fine Arts Academy brought a BB gun to school in a backpack on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Police were called in to the school after the BB gun was discovered in the student’s locker.

Classmates notified staff about the gun after the bus ride to school, according to a letter sent home to parents.

Police reported that the student was handcuffed when officers arrived and was later released into the custody of their parents.

Principal Elizabeth Willkom commended the students who came forward with the information immediately after they arrived at the school.

The student with the BB gun faces disciplinary action.

Right actions! I suppose that the student needs also be investigated by a psychologist.
