Guilty plea entered in Benton Harbor robbery, murder

A guilty plea was entered last week in a Benton Harbor robbery that turned into a fatal shooting.

Shauntae Hill, Jr. was the last of four men charged with murder in the case. He has decided to forgo a jury trial, and pleaded guilty in the shooting death of Nathaniel Lee, 32.

The incident happened in August of 2017. Hill’s plea was to counts of felony manslaughter and armed robbery, and his agreement means he will face at least 13 years in prison.

He’ll be sentenced next month.

Antonio Hall has also been convicted in the murder and sentenced to life in prison. A jury acquitted Davion Turner in the case.
