Indiana’s Governor and Lt. Governor are both making international trips this month aimed at advancing the state’s economy.

Governor Holcomb and the First Lady will lead a delegation to Italy from the 19th to the 21st, meeting with automotive companies interested in expanding into the US. Indiana is already home to 30 Italian companies.

Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Director of the state’s Department of Agriculture will head to Manitoba on September 16th for four days of talks that will help to grow Indiana’s relationship with Canada’s chief agricultural province. Indiana exports more product to Canada than to any other country in the world and is home to more than 70 Canadian businesses.
