Man killed in motorcycle crash was en route to 9/11 remembrance ride

It turns out that the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Kosciusko County Saturday was participating in a benefit ride.

James Ernsberger, 52, of Bremen was traveling in the American Legion Post 154 Riders’ 10th annual 9/11 Ride To Remember when crashed on State Road 13 near 200 North Road.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Ernsberger was thrown from the bike and found unresponsive. He was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital where he later died.
