Berrien Springs man with gun arrested at South Bend Int’l Airport

A Berrien Springs man was taken into custody after he tried passing through security with a gun at South Bend International Airport.

It happened on Tuesday, Sep. 11.

Anthony Polotto, 49, was arrested on preliminary charges of entering controlled access area of airport while having access to a firearm and possession of a controlled substance, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Polotto was arrested by Airport Authority Police wand was booked in the St. Joseph County Jail.
