Shots fired, fight and sexual assault under investigation at Miami Hills Apartments

A fight, gunshots and a report of a sexual assault are all under investigation at Miami Hills Apartments in South Bend.

Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called to the apartment complex on Wednesday morning, Sep. 12, on the report of a sexual assault, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

During that investigation, officers heard the sounds of gunshots and a fight, ABC 57 reported.

Police are now working to figure out what happened with all three incidents.

Stanley Clark and Monroe Schools were placed on lockdown, briefly, during the investigation.
