There are some easy ways to protect grandparents from scams

Grandparents, says Rick Walz of the Better Business Bureau, are often targeted by scammers. In part it’s because many struggle with technology and are unable to recognize a scam situation. And many of these scams continue to spread because the victims feel embarrassed about falling for them and losing money, and therefore don’t spread the word about them.

Walz says there are some simple strategies to protect older consumers.
