Two arrested after attempted break-in at Hackers Golf in Niles

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department interrupted an attempted breaking and entering at the Hackers Golf location on South 11th Street in Niles.

It happened around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 19.

Deputies heard loud banging noises while on patrol and spotted four unknown subjects who were running from the scene.

They discovered that the building’s back door had been kicked several times, suggesting the attempt to break in.

Two of the subjects were captured, and one of them had gloves and a bandana, as well as marijuana.
