The wife of a Benton Harbor double murder suspect has pleaded guilty in a fraud case.

Yalonda Mims pleaded guilty to recording a fraudulent claim with the intent to defraud. She will face sentencing on October 29.

Her husband, Antwan Mims, spent months on the run after he was accused of killing two men at a Benton Harbor house party in March.

He was arrested in Georgia, in July, after he appeared on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List.

According to testimony at a hearing for Yalonda Mims in June, she attempted to fraudulently sign the house he owned over to herself while her husband was on the run.
