Indiana voter registration system issue resolved

A software issue with the voter registration system in Indiana appears to be fixed.
The issue was slowing down absentee voting in the state as clerks were unable to check to see if people who were looking to vote with an absentee ballot were registered to vote.
After three days of issues, the software problem has been identified and resolved.
County clerks are now working hard to catch up with the absentee ballot applications.
Due to the delays, people looking to vote absentee may have to wait a couple of extra days to get their ballots.
You can contact your County Clerk’s office with any concerns or questions.
