AAA Michigan projects another jump in Thanksgiving travel this year

AAA says Michigan will likely see more people on the roads for Thanksgiving this year.

The association estimates that 1.7 million are planning a trip of 50 miles or more, an increase of 5% from last year. 1.5 million of those travelers would be driving.

The projection would represent the 9th consecutive year with an increase in traffic in the state for the busy travel holiday.
