Notre Dame will face Florida State without their starting QB

Notre Dame heads into the last three games of the regular season with a 9-0 record, in great part due to the performance of Junior Quarterback Ian Book, who took over in Week Four.

But the 6-foot starter suffered multiple injuries to his midsection in last weekend’s win at Northwestern, and will be out for the game against the Seminoles.

Book is currently the nation’s leader in completion percentage with a 74 point 5 rating. He has more than 1800 yards passing and 15 touchdowns while throwing only 4 interceptions.

Brandon Wimbush, who began the year as the starter, will return to that role this weekend. It isn’t known if Book will be ready for the Syracuse game at Yankee Stadium on November 17th.
