Get set for a wintry mess that will move into the region on Thursday, Nov. 15, as a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Indiana portion of the 95.3 MNC listening are until 4 p.m. EST.
Freezing rain, sleet and snow are possible, making roads extremely slick.
The mix will spread from the south to the north.
Expect the snow showers to impact the Toll Road area by 6 a.m. so drivers should allow an extra 10 minutes travel time, just to be safe.
Snow changes to wintry mix for some by midday, but the winter weather should fade away by the afternoon.
Highs barely get above freezing this afternoon with snow totals around 1”-3” possible south of the Toll Road.
Slightly warmer temps and milder weather returns Friday with another chance of a wintry mix Saturday.
Sunshine returns Friday, but another system is quick to pass through on Saturday, bringing another chance of snow.
Michiana will experience a bit of a warm-up heading towards Thanksgiving.
