Search underway for man who robbed Fifth Third Bank in South Bend

A search is underway for the man who police say robbed a Fifth-Third bank in South Bend.

The heist happened on Monday afternoon, Jan. 7, at the branch in the 300 block of N. Main Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 6′ tall, with a goatee wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes.

Anybody with information is asked to contact South Bend Police or Michiana Crime Stoppers.
