Three children injured after being struck by car in Niles

Three children were taken to the hospital with injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Niles.

It happened just before 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, near the intersection of N. 13th and Sycamore Streets.

Four juveniles were walking westbound on the sidewalk of Sycamore Street when they stepped into the intersection into the path of a vehicle traveling northbound on 13th Street, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The vehicle struck three of the four juveniles and they received minor injuries, ABC 57 reported.

The driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene during the investigation.
