Three arrests made in connection with N. Cushing St. shooting

Three suspects allegedly connected to a shooting in the 600 block of North Cushing Street in South Bend have been placed under arrest.

The arrests took place during the early morning hours of Wednesday, Jan. 16, and stemmed from a traffic stop, according to South Bend Police.

A woman who was shot at sustained a potentially life-threatening wound to her upper chest. A 19 year-old woman also suffered an ankle injury, but not from a gunshot.

The shooting took place during an argument with a third person.
