The driver in a school bus stop crash near Rochester that killed three children and injured a fourth will be in court on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

Alyssa Shepherd, 24, faces three felony counts of reckless homicides and a misdemeanor count of passing a school bus with its safety arm extended. Her pre-trial conference will take place shortly after 1 p.m. to determine if the case will go to trial or if a plea deal will be presented by prosecutors.

Shepherd claims she did not recognize the school bus as she approached it on Oct. 30. The four children were struck as they crossed State Road 25 to board the bus.
