A Shipshewana man is facing charges after leading officers on a vehicle chase from Michigan into LaGrange County.

The puruit began in the Constantine area on Sunday, Feb. 3.

The suspect, identified as Aaron Schrock, 23, of Shipshewana, proceeded to lead officers into LaGrange County at State Road 9. The pursuit proceeded onto State Road 120 at a high rate of speed with the suspect driving in front of several oncoming vehicles, according to investigators.

Once officers stopped the vehicle, Schrock was then taken into custody.

The vehicle the suspect was driving was reported stolen from Colorado. The license plates were stolen from California, investigators stated

Schrock faces preliminary charges of felony resisting law enforcement with a motor vehicle, misdemeanor charge of possession of stolen property and reckless driving. He will mostly likely be facing additional charges from the State of Michigan, as well.
