Initial NTSB Report on Goshen plane crash released

The preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Bureau is in for the deadly Feb. 21st plane crash in Elkhart County

The report says 55 year-old Neal Myers of Middlebury, the pilot and sole occupant of the plane, died while practicing landings. It says surveillance video from the Goshen Municipal Airport shows the small plane flying, a flash, and then the plane disappears from view.

The report also says portions of power lines were found embedded around the propeller, and both wings had wire marks on them, according to first responders.
