Average price for gas on the rise in the Hoosier State

The average price in the state was $2.49 on Monday, March 11, compared to $2.33 the previous Monday.

Prices are are likely to continue to rise in Indiana, and nationwid, due to the changeover to more expensive summer gasoline blends, according to Gas Buddy.

49 of the 50 states saw an increase in prices last week, including double-digit price increases in Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia.
