Painter was taken into custody on a federal charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Painter was convicted of attempted murder in 1993 in La Porte County and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. He was also sentenced to 20 years in prison in Tennessee for 2nd degree muder. An un-named woman with Painter was also taken into custody. ABC 57 reported.
Authorities said could be related to the skeletal remains found in Osceola last week, ABC 57 reported.
