The plans for South Bend’s first high-end office building have gained their first major tenant.

The South Bend Tribune reports the law firm of Barnes & Thornburg will occupy the middle three floors of the five-story modern glass building. It will be built at the southwest corner of Main Street and Jefferson Boulevard.

The 9 million-dollar building will be called The Barnes & Thornburg Building, and should be complete by the summer of 2021.

A groundbreaking has been scheduled for Tuesday.
