South Bend, Mishawaka women arrested after large fight in Dowagiac

Several people were arrested after what Dowagiac Police are calling “a large fight.”

It happened around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, when police received multiple calls about people fighting in a parking lot.

Officers from Dowagiac and Silver Creek Township, as well as Cass County deputies responded to the call.

Multiple suspects were attempting to leave the scene in two vehicles when police arrived.

Two South Bend women and a Mishawaka woman were arrested for assault and battery, and one was also charged with child endangerment for assaulting a victim who was holding an infant.

All three were booked into the Cass County Jail.
