AMBER ALERT CANCELLED for missing 13 year-old in Kalamazoo County

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been cancelled by the Michigan State Police. Calista Rose has been located and is safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: Michigan State Police issued an AMBER Alert early Wednesday morning in Kalamazoo County for a missing teenage girl. 13-year-old Calista Kay Rose was last seen at 1:30 Tuesday morning in Galesburg. She was erroneously said to be 16 when the alert was first issued.

The State Police say Rose has hazel eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and a pink winter coat. It’s believed she may be with 45 year-old Samuel LeRoy Chrispens, who could be driving a grey 2011 Chrysler four-door vehicle with the Michigan license plate number 1-M-C-W-5-1.

If you think you’ve seen Rose or Chrispens, contact Michigan State Police LT. Mardella Horhn at 269-657-5551 or the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office at 269-383-8722. You can also call 911.
