South Bend Police make two arrests in Sunday night murder case

South Bend Police say they have arrested two teenagers in connection with the shooting death of Traychon Taylor.

18 year-old Kyle Doroszko was taken into custody on Wednesday morning, May 1, in connection with the murder, which happened Sunday, April 28, in the 500 block of N. William St.

A 17-year-old was also arrested in connection with the investigation on preliminary suspicion of assisting a criminal, a charge that would be a Level 5 Felony for an adult.

Taylor’s autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday morning in Fort Wayne. He died early Tuesday morning.

The shooting was to fourth in the last 13 months to happen either at or near the business known as Frank’s Place.
