Severe thunderstorms possible for Michiana by Thursday evening

Clouds increase on Thursday, May 16, with daytime highs climbing into the upper 70s. Storms are possible in the evening.

Some storms could be strong to severe with winds and heavy rain being the main threats. Heavy rain will likely lead to standing water on the roadways.

Temperaturs will cool on Friday with morning showers possible.

Temperatures will heat back up on Saturday with highs near 80 and a mix of sun and clouds and increasing humidity. Widespread showers and storms move in on Sunday.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, chance of evening storms, high of 78.

Thursday Night: Scattered storms, strong to severe possible, low of 60.

Friday: Morning showers, mostly cloudy, high of 66.

Saturday: Partly cloudy, high of 80.

There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon...mainly south of
highway 30. An isolated strong to severe thunderstorm is possible
with damaging winds and large hail as the main potential threats.

Thunderstorms are likely tonight and some of these storms may be
severe. The potential main threats are large hail and locally heavy

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Additional thunderstorms are possible late Friday and again on
Sunday. Some of these storms may be strong.
